Dr. Nicole Cressey grew up in Altoona, Iowa. She spent lots of time as a child on her grandparents’ farm whereshe learned about cattle, hogs, and chickens. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University, graduating in 2011. She spent one year practicing veterinary medicine on just pigs in southern Minnesota. Next she moved on to being a mixed animal veterinarian in southern Illinois for almost two years. Dr. Cressey and her husband, Lance, have a St. Bernard named Jaxson and a Boxer/Lab mix named Piglet to keep them busy. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, gardening, and scrapbooking. Dr. Cressey sees both large and small animals. She especially enjoys preventative medicine and is happiest helping her clients make decisions that keep their animal as healthy as possible.
