Valerie Y. Warmuth, DVM

Dr. Warmuth joined Red Hills Veterinary HospitalĀ as an Associate Veterinarian in May 2014.

She has always been an avid fan of arctic breeds and has been owned by several Siberian Huskies, a Great Pyrenees, and a mixed breed. Becoming a veterinarian has been a lifelong dream of hers, which she was able to pursue after finishing her Biology degree at Florida Atlantic University. As a child growing up in Delaware, every pet that crossed her path was interesting and guinea pigs, a ferret, a rat, hamsters, gerbils, dogs, and a rabbit were a few of her favorite playmates. Dr. Warmuth was accompanied to Alaska and Wyoming by her chinchilla, Ebert.

Dr. Warmuth was able to become more familiar with her special interest in the sport of sled dog racing and veterinary sports medicine. While practicing on the Kenai Peninsula and Anchorage, Alaska.

She moved to Gillette from Alaska and graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Dr. Warmuth enjoys treating exotic animals, orthopaedic, and internal medicine.
