Dr. DJ Woehl is a Wyoming native being born and raised in Douglas. Dr. DJ has a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and Agricultural Education as well as a master’s degree in International Agriculture from Oklahoma State University where she was able to study in Ireland for 3 months through the University College of Dublin. Dr. DJ attended veterinary school at Iowa State University. While in school, Dr. DJ was very active with the World Vets organization and traveled to Nicaragua and Colombia for spay and neuter campaigns.
Dr. DJ loves all aspects of veterinary medicine but is very passionate about canine, bovine, and small ruminant (sheep and goat) artificial insemination, soft tissue surgery, large animal medicine, the human animal bond and implementing fear free techniques. Dr. DJ also loves to support the 4H and FFA programs, as she was very active in FFA growing up.
